You’re invited to celebrate the 60th year reunion with your UA High School classmates. It’s our Diamond Jubilee!
Embrace old friends. Discover the faces that go with names you heard in the hallways 60 years ago, but never actually met.
Reconnect with classmates you haven’t seen since the 50th reunion!
Participate in any of the variety of activities we’ve planned for your fun and enjoyment on July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
The reunion planning team has been working for months to make sure this will be a memorable event.
We’ll be ready to welcome you when you arrive!
Reunion Schedule of Activities
Thursday Afternoon, July 2
Explore the new high school during an open house from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Alumni Award presentations are scheduled for 3:00 pm in the auditorium. We have a nominee from our class.
At 4:30 pm mingle with alumni from the classes of ‘65, ‘66, and ‘67 for an informal, cash-bar happy hour at Yogi's Bar and Grill.
Make your own dinner plans and gather with your classmates that evening.
Friday Morning, July 3
Help decorate our float for the Fourth of July Parade and/or enjoy
Yoga in the Park, at 10:30 am – noon in Upper Arlington’s
Thompson Park on McCoy Road.
Have lunch with your classmates on your own. Then get
ready for the evening’s big gathering.

Diamond Jubilee Class of 1966 Celebration

You and your guest can enjoy getting reacquainted, sharing memories and trading stories about your lives during the past six decades.
There will be lots of *memorabilia, fun activities, and a tribute honoring classmates who are no longer with us.
At 10:00 pm cap off your evening by watching a distant view of the spectacular “Red, White & Boom Fireworks” over Downtown Columbus from the Event Center balcony.
Saturday, July 4
Gather at 8:00 am (location to be confirmed) if you plan to ride on
the Class of 1966 Float.
Interested in exploring and walking?
At 1:00 pm, you can meet at the new Quarry Trails Metro Park. You’ll be amazed at the transformation of the old limestone quarry as you explore the trails, waterfalls and new community there.
The day is designed for you to have get-togethers and explore with families, friends and classmates. At 9:30 pm you can join us at the Picnic in Northam Park for the spectacular Upper Arlington Fireworks display that starts at 10:00 pm.
Where to stay during our reunion
If you haven't already made hotel arrangements on your own and want to be near classmates, we have arranged for blocks of discounted rooms at three locations. The reservation deadline for discounted rates is May 31, 2026.
Reserve now and cancel later if your plans change.
(Scioto Country Club is hosting the 2006 U.S. Senior Open Championship, July 2-5, so nearby hotels are filling up quickly.)

Our reunion shirts are 100% pre-shrunk white cotton unisex polos with the 60th Reunion Logo embroidered over the left pocket area. Please refer to the size chart before ordering. Measurements refer to the shirt lying flat (Width = armpit to armpit; Length = top of collar to hem).
Shirts will be distributed at the Diamond Jubilee on July 3rd. Please wear yours on the float.
If you don't purchase a reunion shirt, please wear a white shirt if riding on our float.
