60th Reunion - Diamond Anniversary
Updates
Two weeks ago we successfully sent an email and survey to 360 of our classmates* announcing our 60th Reunion celebration. Judging from early responses we're beginning to build momentum toward very memorable reunion events eight months from now.
In this space we'll start to share comments and special messages from some of us who've expressed their intent to be back in Upper Arlington next July. We're seeking comments from any of you, both those who'll be coming from far away as well as those in central Ohio. If you'd like to add your own message and encourage other friends and classmates to attend the reunion events, please send those, along with a photo of your choice, to our class' email address... uahsclassof1966@gmail.com
* If you did not receive the email, please look in your alternate email inboxes, such as "Spam" or "Promotions." Also, please check your email address in the Class Directory (see tab here) and if any of your information is not correct please use the included form to let us know. You can also use the class email address, above, to pass along such corrections. Thanks!

Photos of these classmates can be found in a new section (tab) titled "60th Reunion Images."
Rob St. Clair, Columbus GA (VP of our Class in 1965-66):
"Did I really want to attend our class reunion next year?...Yes, time is slipping by... you go because of the people, to see old friends, maybe for the last time. I look forward to introducing Sara to people that I have shared so many fond memories with, friends who knew me before I became old, cranky and bald.
Marjorie Fouse Goldberg, Columbus, OH:
"It would be nice to just socialize with friends from the past."
Tony Olbrich, Boise, ID:
"I live 2,000 miles from Columbus... it takes two flights to get from here to there. Both (the 50th and our 70th Birthday Party) were truly enjoyable events, so my expectations for the 60th are that it will match or exceed those gatherings. I'll be the guy behind the camera, and I hope you'll be in those images.
**********************************
A reunion committee has been active since this past summer, developing plans that we hope will be enjoyable and accessible for all. We're also busy with validating contact information for every single classmate. Our goal is to communicate with the entire surviving class to the best of our ability, to be sure that everyone knows about the reunion and to encourage them to join in. We hope to provide opportunities to rekindle old friendships or acquaintances, and perhaps make new friends among people we only knew very casually. We are hoping to generate excitement and enthusiasm among as large a group of us 1966 classmates as possible, regardless of where we live today.
Please check this site periodically - more so as the dates draw nearer - for the most up-to-date information. We hope to see you next July.
